An unremarkable planet, in part of the Revella cluster, ruled by a pseudo-monarchy. Lampo’s surface was dull trapazohedral crystals, the locals call Smoky Red Agalene after exploitive mining had taken all the richest veins.
One lucky raffle ticket, and Sam Maart has won a starship. Abandoned by parents searching for the next big score, Sam struggles with self-discovery; gets entangled with notorious starship broker Itty Hest; meets the fascinating Gegé Vassa; loses a best friend to the underworld; gains a partner just in time to mount a search and rescue on her starship.

At the request of the newly formed Ranger council, Netna Wen, Ralia and Su Oco are granted authority to patrol Revella’s stars and planets.
The range of H.B. Stein’s (aka Neel Baxe), criminal empire remains a threat to the peace and commerce of Revella cluster. Seemingly able to evade capture and prosecution by shifting blame or leaving no direct evidence, he resettles on Targus, where his contacts are broad and well established deep within many controlling corporations and into governments.
Work was just beginning for Chosen Ranger Netna Wer, Guardian Rangers Ralia and Su Oco.

Part 3 of 3
With increased support from the Rangers, Lampo, Yana and Targus enforcement techniques were better organized.
Across the stellar arm, Clys/Esda, Odel, Gnalinx and Ivista struggled to manage the increasing reports of theft, manipulated influence peddling within judicial circles and higher-ranking government officials.
Laocal and Alcadat systems were still sparsely settled.
Threatened and often muzzled locals didn’t trust the immerging elite. They trusted Sheriff and Ranger even less.
Within that new and normalized culture, a sinister, yet elegant nurturing of prospective clientele encouraged those foolish enough to believe that society had somehow robbed them of their fundamental needs with the temptation of Reks and Lidogilt. Old manifestos and proposals were scrapped, making way for a different, and subtle approach to corruption.
Fresh ideas, a skillfully managed and sophisticated intelligence network, slowly gathered strength . . . waiting for an opportunity.
